My name is Mikołaj
and I create things

I am a graduate with a masters degree in Media Production, experienced in video editing, content creation and graphic design.

I keep exploring new areas in which I can focus on a creation process, such as 3D modelling, UX/UI design, or videography.

I am based in Warsaw. In my free time, I play (a lot of) video games, read (mostly) fantasy books, and lift (heavy) weights at the gym.

Creating 3D models and scenes is something that started as a hobby, but I quickly realized this is something I would like to do profesionally. I am constantly learning new things, currently taking a course ran by Blender Guru, one of the most recognizable tutors in the 3D industry.

MIGUEL (COCO)


A retopology of Miguel from the Pixar movie Coco. After finishing the retopology, I added some textures and played with the particle system to add hair. After that, I also added some clothes.

A retopology of Snorlax, a very lovely and relatable Pokémon. After finishing the retopology, I added some textures and played with the particle system to make him fluffy, and then made a quick scene to recreate the game feeling.

A personal UX/UI challenge project created as part of the course “User Experience (UX): The Ultimate Guide to Usability and UX”. The goal was to design a mobile app that helps users quickly locate lost pets through a simple, intuitive, and stress-free experience.
The project focused on applying core UX principles such as usability, clear navigation, accessibility, and task-oriented design. The process included user-centered research, wireframing, interface design, and prototyping, with special attention given to reducing user stress during urgent situations.

A personal UX/UI project for a multifunctional food app that combines recipe sharing, food ordering, and shopping list management into one experience.
The goal of the project was to create an intuitive and engaging mobile application that encourages users to cook more often through a reward-based system and community-driven features. Users can create and explore recipes, collect points for cooking and activity, and exchange them for discounts on food orders.

TRUSTMATE WEBINAR


A marketing and UI design project completed as a recruitment task for TrustMate, focusing on creating cohesive digital assets with an emphasis on brand consistency, visual engagement, and conversion-driven design.The project explored how to optimize user touchpoints across web and social media by enhancing visual hierarchy, streamlining landing page layouts, and designing high-impact promotional graphics for a webinar invitation. The process included analyzing brand guidelines, asset creation, and layout design using Canva.

VIDEOGRAPHY


This section covers my video and photo work. It started during my Media Production studies, where I wrote and directed a short film, and has recently expanded into photography as a hobby. I also have a YouTube channel dedicated to the narrative and storyline of computer games, as well as the gaming industry in general. I also used to work as an editor for the academic television TV UMVS.
